| I am a technician having problems with a neptune dryer. Im not an authorized Maytag technician but I've repaired many. I get error code 50 or SO but it's not listed in tech sheet. It will go into Service Mode and display "d" but won't respond to any commands. I've replaced control board but still does same thing. Model # MDE5500AYW Serial # 34479672ZD Any Help Please! | This code your getting is that just showing up randomly? If certain key pads are not working i'am surprised you can get it into a service mode....if the "d" is in display sounds like you can get it into service mode but the wrinkle release button which once pushed should list the codes. Pushing other buttons does specific tests. Sounds like the touch pad is at fault. Will this thing start or do anything? |
