We have a GE Monogram All Refrigerator model where the evaporator coils in the bottom rear inside of the refrigerator freeze solid, especially when it is humid out. Water will leak out from the bottom of the door when closed and when open, there is water running from the rear of the inside of the unit to the door and dripping out between the door and the unit where the seal closes. Once in a while the coils will be free of ice. The door has a good seal when first closed, as there is a large amount of suction present when trying to re-open it after it is just closed. The drain pan (evaporation pan) under the unit is completely dry, however looks like at one time there was water in it that evaporated based on the residue.

Sounds like your defrost system is out, suggest you call out a professional that knows these units to see what has failed and repair the unit. It might get real expensive real fast to start guessing.Moderator & Assistant Admin. for Servicetechhelp Association.Inc. _______________________________________ Upload Manuals thru Helpdesk..>>> HELPDESK
