Whirlpool Polara Range Removing the Bake element
8178350 of 6/2003 model # GR556LRK. Difficult to remove and replace the bake element from the front of the oven. The elements are held in place with " push nuts " accessable from the back of the range (these push nuts are required to keep the insulation away from the electrical terminals). Push nuts must be removed to access and remove elements.
